Monday, June 23 Arrival in Johannesburg and transfer
to hotel; balance of day at leisure. Overnight at
PROTEA BALALAIKA SANDTON HOTEL B
Tuesday, June 24 After breakfast, half day excursion
to Soweto in the morning including entrance to the
Nelson Mandela Museum, a view of Bragwanath hospital
and a visit to the Hector Peterson Memorial. In the
afternoon, we visit the Holocaust Memorial and Etz
Chaim Synagogue. B
Wedsnesday, June 25 Following breakfast we will
leave for our drive to Kruger National Park. En route
we will visit the Premier Diamond Mine at Cullinan.
In the afternoon, we depart again for Kruger National
Park and stay at the CASA DO SOL RESORT or similar

Thursday, June 26 Early morning open vehicle game
drive in the Park. After the drive we return to the
Lodge for breakfast. In the afternoon, we again board
our open vehicle for another game drive. B, D
Friday, June 27 Early morning open vehicle game
drive. Return for breakfast. Afternoon game drive
and return to Lodge. B, D
Saturday, June 28 After breakfast we depart for
airport and fly to Capetown. FOUNTAIN HOTEL or similar

Sunday, June 29 Half day sightseeing to Table Mountain
and descent is by cablecar (assuming weather permits).
We also will visit Tikvat Israel Synagogue and an
entrance to the South African Jewish Museum. Balance
of day at leisure. B
Monday, June 30 After breakfast, it is a full day
excursion to Cape Peninsular with an entrance to
the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Return journey
is by funicular. B
Tuesday, July 1 A full day excursion to the Winelands
and Stellenbosch and an opportunity for a winetasting
with some of the wonderful S. African wines. B, L
Wednesday, July 2 Full day at leisure to experience
the many (personal choice) sights still to be savored.

Thursday, July 3 After breakfast, it is all too
soon, but time to fly back to the USA. B
