December 20/21 Depart USA for Kuala
Lumpur; departure date will depend on flight arrangements.

December 22 Start of tour in K L. Day at leisure
depending on arrival schedule. Overnight at PARKROYAL
HOTEL OR SIMILAR Dinner & show in evening.
December 23 Full day of sightseeing. There will
be a visit to Chinatown. City sightseeing including
a view of Petronas Twin Towers, King’s Palace
and old Railroad Station. Entrance to Orchid and
Hibiscus Gardens. Later a visit to Masjid India.
Overnight B
December 24 Full day excursion to the colonial city
of Malacca. We will visit the Cheng Hoon Teng Temple,
a visit to A’Famosa (Porta de Santiago and
afternoon visits to Holland Square, St. Paul’s
Church and St. Xavier’s Church. Return to K

December 25 After breakfast, we depart for Kuala
Tembeling to embark on a boat and transfer to Taman
Negara N. Park to enjoy a time with nature. We will
have a video presentation followed by a night jungle
walk. Overnight Taman Negara Chalet B, D
December 26 Following breakfast we will participate
in a jungle trek to Teresek Hill and a canopky walkway.
After lunch we take a boat ride to Lata Berkoh for
swimming. Overnight B, L, D
December 27 After breakfast, we again embark on
a boat ride returning to Kuala Tembeling and K L.

December 28 We transfer by flight to Kuching in
E. Malaysia. After lunch we have a half day city
tour with a sunset cruise. Overnight HOTEL CROWNE

December 29 Today we travel to Batang Ai, passing
through town of Serian, past rice fields, pepper
plantations with a stop at an Orchid Garden. We later
after lunch, board a ferry for transfer from Btang
Al Dam to our hotel. Balance of day at leisure. Overnight
at HILTON BATANG AI LONGHOUSE RESORT B, L
December 30 In the morning another ferry transfer
to the mainland and transfer to the Lemanak River
to board native longboats to visit an Iban Longhouse
and experience a welcome ceremony. Later in the day
we return to Kuching. Overnight Hotel Crown Plaza
or similar B, L
December 31 After breakfast we return to airport
for flight, arriving at Sandakan. In the afternoon
(after lunch) we have a city tour which will include
the water village, Australian War Memorial and Agnes
Keith House. Overnight at SEPILOK NATURE RESORT B,
L, D
January 1 In the morning we take a speedboat ride
to Selingan Island with balance of day at leisure.
In the evening we view nature at its best…observation
of turtles laying eggs on the beach. Overnight at
PARK CHALET B, L, D
January 2 We again transfer back to the mainland
to visit Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Center.
We later transfer back to mainland of Penang. Overnight
HOLIDAY INN-FERINGHI B, L
January 3 We have a half day of sightseeing in Penang,
visiting Kek Lok Si Temple, the Snake Temple, Penang
Bridge and visit inside Fort Cornwallis. Overnight

January 4 It is sad but we must say goodbye to this
wonderful destination and return home to the USA.
This tour includes both land and air, and due to
the many domestic flights involved, use of own air
is not possible.
